GCM has a long established tradition of leading the way in imaging excellence in the Washington, DC area since its inception in 1916. Our office, located in downtown DC and accessible by metro, is newly renovated and our equipment upgraded to reflect the latest technology. Our multi-slice spiral CT scanner offers patients state-of-the-art diagnostic scans as well as the full range of screening CT exams including screening lung CT and coronary calcium scoring.
Our imaging center uses all digital equipment and is filmless. This technology enables referring physicians to view their patients' studies from their home or office via a secure internet connection. Patients may also take a CD of their images with them after their exam. Studies can be transmitted electronically to subspecialty-trained GCM radiologists throughout our practice, providing rapid access to the highest quality interpretation.
